Our Background
Atlantic Plastic Bags was formally established on 1 March 2017 as part of Atlantic Plastic Recycling family-owned private companies, who had by then already spent 27 years focused on plastic recycling , producing quality recycled polymers. With an ingrained mindset of taking used products and giving them new life, it was a natural extension for the family business to expand into refurbishing second hand polypropylene woven bags.
Due to the huge demand for inexpensive alternatives to new bags, the business grew to the point where it is able to function as a stand-alone operation.
Atlantic Plastic Bags purchases pre-owned bags and revitalizes them to offer something beyond just simply selling used goods. We are in the business of second chances, both for the bags and for the planet.
We carefully select bags, often rescuing quality items that might otherwise be discarded. We then clean, repair, and sometimes even enhance these bags, giving them a new lease on life. Our refurbishing process directly combats waste and reduces the demand for new resources needed to create entirely new products.
